Fast Blackberry Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 c fresh blackberries
  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 T flour
  • 2 T lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 recipe plain pastry
  • 1 T butter
  1. Combine berries, sugar, flour, juice, and salt.
  2. Line pie pan with pastry, add filling. Dot with butter and cover with top crust.
  3. Bake 450° 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° bake 25-30 minutes longer or until berries are tender.
