Egg Custard Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups milk or a mixture of milk and half and half
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  1. Preheat oven to 450°
  2. Line 9″ pie pan with pie crust and prick the bottom
  3. Bake for 10 minutes
  4. Remove from oven and reduce heat to 325°
  5. Sprinkle top with nutmeg and bake for 30 minutes or until firm
