Edelweiss Fudge Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 oz German sweet chocolate
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  1. Melt chocolate and butter over low heat; stirring constantly till butter is melted and chocolate is softened. Let cool
  2. Beat eggs for 2 minutes. Add sugar and brown sugar. Beat on high speed for 1 minute. At low speed, add flour. Add cool chocolate mixture and vanilla; beat 1-1/2 minutes until combined
  3. Pour into well greased 9″ pie pan
  4. Bake at 325° for 40 minutes. Cool
  5. Pie puffs up when baking then settles down to a nice fudgy goodness
  6. Serve with whipped cream
