Dilled Leeks With Lemon
A sauté in oil and water steams leeks to delicate perfection.
4 large leeks, washed, trimmed and sliced into ¾ inch slices
water, as required
2 tablespoons oil
fresh dill, finely minced, about ¼ cup
juice of ½ a lemon
In a large non-stick pan, heat up some water (about 1/3 cup) with the oil.
Add in leeks and sauté over low to medium heat until softened, about 10-20
Season with salt and pepper and dust with fresh dill and drizzle on lemon
