1 1/2 C. Brown Sugar
1 stick Butter
1/3 C. light Corn Syrup
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
12 oz. Crispix
1 (12 oz.) can Roasted Salted Peanuts
Methods/steps
In a large pan heat Crispix and peanuts. Bring to a boil the first three ingredients and when hot and bubble add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Pour over cereal, mix well. Put in a 250 degree oven, stirring occasionally, heat 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven and pour over cookie sheet to cool. Stir so it doesn’t stick together, and you can add additional nuts if you like.
