Creamy Pear Pie

Ingredients

  • 4 C. sliced, peeled pears
  • 1/3 C. sugar
  • 2 T. flour
  • 1 C. sour cream
  • 1/2 t. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 t. lemon extract
  • 1/2 t. almond extract
  • 1 unbaked pastry shell (9 inches)

Topping:

  • 1/4 C. flour
  • 2 T. butter, melted
  • 2 T. brown sugar
  1. In a large bowl toss pears with sugar and flour.
  2. Combine sour cream and extracts. Add to pear mixture and mix well. Pour into a pie shell.
  3. In a small bowl mix topping ingredients until crumbly. Sprinkle over pears.
  4. Bake 400º for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350º, bake 45 minutes more ’til pears are tender.
