Country Lima Bean & Cabbage Soup
- 1 lb dried baby lima beans, rinsed
- 8 cups chicken broth, or bouillon
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp chopped fresh marjoram
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1/2 tsp dried red-pepper flakes, crushed
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 3 cups shredded cabbage
- In a slow-cooker or crock-pot, combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 10 to 11 hours or until beans are tender.
- Ladle into individual bowls
