Country Kitchen Peach Pie
Ingredients
- 1 unbaked pie shell
- 1/2 c flour
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1/4 c brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 c butter
- 1/2 c chopped walnuts
- 1 # 2 can (3-1/2 c) peach halves
- 1 T lemon juice
- Combine flour, sugars, and cinnamon. Cut in butter to make coarse crumbs. Add nuts to half of crumb mixture and spread in bottom of unbaked 8″ shell.
- Drain peaches; arrange, cut side down over crumbs. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
- Top with remaining crumbs. Bake 425° about 45 minutes (cover edge of crust with foil for last 10 minutes of baking)
