Country Kitchen Peach Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • 1/2 c flour
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 1/4 c brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 1/2 c chopped walnuts
  • 1 # 2 can (3-1/2 c) peach halves
  • 1 T lemon juice
  1. Combine flour, sugars, and cinnamon. Cut in butter to make coarse crumbs. Add nuts to half of crumb mixture and spread in bottom of unbaked 8″ shell.
  2. Drain peaches; arrange, cut side down over crumbs. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
  3. Top with remaining crumbs. Bake 425° about 45 minutes (cover edge of crust with foil for last 10 minutes of baking)
