Cookies Tangy Sweet and Sour Duet
3 lbs Sirloin steak, cubed approx. 1″ x 1-½” squares
2-½ lbs skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cubed same as beef
1 – 18 oz. bottle of Cookies Western Style Bar-B-Q Sauce
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup pineapple juice from canned pineapple
2 large cans pineapple chunks
2 large cans whole Irish potatoes
2 cans mandarin oranges
2 green peppers, cut into 1″ x 1″ pieces
Cookies Regular Bar-B-Q Sauce
1 small can sliced black olives
1 head Romaine lettuce
Cut up meats, drain pineapple juice reserving 1/4 cup. In medium bowl mix one jar of Cookies Western Bar-B-Q Sauce, 1/4 cup red wine vinegar, 1/4 cup pineapple juice. Stir until well mixed. Add the beef and chicken cuts, marinate overnight.
Skewer chicken onto shish kabob skewers, grill over hot coals until done, alternating with pineapple, and orange slices. When chicken is half done skewer beef on shish kabob skewers, alternating potatoes, red peppers, green peppers and onions with beef chunks. Cook over hot coals till beef has reached your desired tastes. Coat both the chicken and beef with Cookies Regular Bar-B-Q Sauce.
