Cinnamon Sour Cream Coffee Cake


1-1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp soda
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup butter
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream (I use light)
1 tsp vanilla


In a small bowl combine 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, and 1 tsp cinnamon for topping, set aside.

Sift flour, soda, and baking powder together, set aside.

Combine butter, remaining sugar and eggs in bowl; beat until light and fluffy. Stir in sour cream. Add flour mixture and vanilla; mix well.

Spoon half the batter into a greased pan. Sprinkle with half the topping. Spoon in remaining batter, sprinkle with remaining topping. Press topping lightly into batter with the back of a spoon.

Place pan in cold oven. Bake at 350* for about 55 mins.
