Cinnamon & Nut Coffee Cake

1 1/2 cups plain flour
1 1/2 tsp. Clabber Girl Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 cup Crisco
3 eggs
1 8 oz. cup sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. butter

1 cup powdered sugar
3 Tbsp. milk or enough to make drizzle
1 Tbsp. oil

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. Beat until fluffy – sugar, butter and Crisco. Then add 3 eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. Add 1/2 the sifted ingredients to the sugar, butter and egg mixture. Mix well. Add all of the sour cream and vanilla. Blend. Then, add rest of flour. Mix until well blended.

Mix together brown sugar, walnuts, cunnamon and butter.

Grease and flour 9″ cake pan. Add 1/2 the batter, then sprinkle 1/2 the topping, then add the rest of the batter. Add remaining toppping.

Bake 325 degrees, approximately (1) one hour. After baking, mix together powdered sugar, milk and oil. Mix well and drizzle over cake
