Chocolate Raspberry Bread

INGREDIENTS:

 

  • 6 oz semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup finely chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 2 eggs, lighly beaten
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup raspberry jam, seedless
  • 1 tsp vanilla

STEP BY STEP:

 

  1. Lightly grease a 9- by 5-inch loaf pan; set aside Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Melt chocolate chips and butter in a small saucepan; set aside
  2. In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add nuts; stir well
  3. In a separate bowl combine eggs, milk, raspberry jam, and vanilla Beat until blended
  4. Add melted chocolate mixture and milk mixture to the flour mixture; stir just until moistened. Pour into prepared pan.
