Chocolate Chip Butter Cookies
1 c. real butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. confectioners Sugar
1 c. semi-sweet miniature chocolate chips
Instructions
Melt butter in microwave oven or double boiler, then stir in vanilla. Cool completely. In a large bowl, combine flour and sugar, then stir in butter mixture and chocolate chips (mixture will be crumbly). Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets and flatten slightly. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes, or until edges begin to brown. Cool on wire racks. Makes 4 dozen.
