Chocolate Brownie Pie
- 1 9″ pie crust, unbaked
- 2 squares unsweetened chocolate (2 oz)
- 2 T butter
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 c sugar
- 3/4 c dark corn syrup
- 3/4 c pecan halves
- Melt chocolate and butter over hot water.
- Beat together thoroughly with rotary beater: eggs, sugar, chocolate mixture and syrup. Mix in nuts.
- Pour into pie shell and bake 350° 40-50 minutes just until set.
- Serve slightly warm or cold. Garnish with ice cream or whipped cream.
