Chocolate Brownie Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 9″ pie crust, unbaked
  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate (2 oz)
  • 2 T butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 3/4 c dark corn syrup
  • 3/4 c pecan halves
  1. Melt chocolate and butter over hot water.
  2. Beat together thoroughly with rotary beater: eggs, sugar, chocolate mixture and syrup. Mix in nuts.
  3. Pour into pie shell and bake 350° 40-50 minutes just until set.
  4. Serve slightly warm or cold. Garnish with ice cream or whipped cream.
