Chocolate Bourbon Pie


  • Any pie crust
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate bits
  • 1 ounce chocolate (Square)
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1 extra egg yolk
  • 1 cup heavy cream (whipped)
  • 1/4 cup Bourbon
  1. Bake pie crust, and cool it.
  2. Combine both chocolates and melt over hot water, cool slightly
  3. Beat egg yolks until thick and creamy. Slowly add the chocolate, beating as you pour. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold them into the chocolate mixture. Then fold in the Bourbon and the whipped cream.
  4. Pour into baked pie crust and cooled crust, and chill
