Chocolate Amaretto Silk Pie


  • 1-1/2 cups cookie crumbs
  • 6 Tbsp butter melted
  • 3 pkgs (2.8oz each) chocolate mousse mix
  • 1-1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup amaretto
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  1. In a 10″ deep dish pie plate, combine cookie crumbs and butter
  2. Press evenly into sides and bottom; chill until ready to fill
  3. Meanwhile, prepare mousse according to package directions. Spoon into prepared crust; chill 1 hour or until set
  4. Meanwhile in large bowl with electric mixer set at high speed, beat cream, amaretto and sugar until stiff peaks form
  5. Pipe with pastry bag fitted with star tip or spread onto pie
  6. Garnish with fresh strawberries and extra cookie crumbs
