Chili Cheese Pie

Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 servings of chili
  • 2/3 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 2/3 cup of milk
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 2 tablespoons of butter, melted
  • 2 cups diced cheddar cheese
  1. Pour chili into 3 quart baking dish. Place in oven and bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees.
  2. Mix cornmeal and flour in small bowl.
  3. Combine milk, sugar and eggs, beat until an even color. Add cream of tartar, butter, and cheddar cheese to milk mixture and blend well.
  4. Remove chili from oven and pour the batter over chili and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
