Chicken Turnovers

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded swiss or cheddar
  • 1 2 1/2 oz. can deviled ham
  • 1/3 cup minced onions
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 8-oz. pkg. buttermilk Biscuits
  • 1 beaten egg
  • sesame seeds or poppy seeds
  1. Heat oven to 400º
  2. Generously spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.
  3. Mix all ingredients
  4. Roll biscuits on floured surface to 5″ circles.
  5. Place 2 Tbs. of mixture in middle of each round. Moisten edges with water.
  6. Fold to form turnover. Press edges with tines of fork to seal. Brush with beaten egg & sprinkle w. seeds, if desired.
  7. Bake 13 minutes or till golden brown.
