Chicken Paprika

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken cut up
  • 1/3 c flour
  • 1 Tbsp paprika
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/3 c cooking oil or shortening
  • 1/2 c chopped onion
  • 3 chicken bullion cubes
  • 3 c hot water
  • 1 c sour cream
  1. Dredge chicken in flour mixture. Brown chicken in fat in heavy skillet and add onion. Add bullion cubes and water.
  2. Cover and cook over low heat 35 to 40 minutes. Place on serving platter.
  3. Add sour cream to pan. Stir well, heat. Pour over chicken.
