Chicken Mole (mo’lay)

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken, cut up
  • water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tbsp. bacon grease
  • 2 to 3 cups mole sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sesame seed
  1. Cover chicken with salted water. Bring to a boil then let simmer for 35 minutes. Reserve broth to make sauce.
  2. Brown chicken in bacon grease. Cover with mole sauce and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
