Chewy Butterscotch Nut Bars

Pour the contents from the jar in a large bowl. Add the butter, egg and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Dump into a greased 8″ square pan, spreading dough mixture evenly. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 18-22 minutes, or until lightly golden. Cool.
