Cheese Beer Bread
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups plain flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried sage
- 1 (12 ounce) can beer
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Preheat oven to 375. Grease and flour 9 inch loaf pan.
- Mix all dry ingrediants, stir in beer and cheese until well blended.
- Spread evenly in pan.
- Bake 50 to 55 minutes.
- Cool 10 minutes.
