Carmelized Onions for French Onion Soup


  • 6 large onions (6 cups slices)
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  1. Peel the onions and cut them into 1/4″ slices. Place the onions in a slow cooker and drizzle the oil over the slices
  2. Place the lid on the cooker and turn it to high. Cook 8 to 10 hours until the onions carmelize. They will have a deep brown color
