Caramel Peach Pie

Ingredients

Crust

  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 3/4 cup sifted flour
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 stick butter or margarine, melted

Filling

  • 1 can Eagle Brand Milk
  • 4 peaches
  • 1/2 pint whipping cream
  1. Mix first four ingredients. Stir in melted butter or margarine. Shape and pat into a pie plate. Bake 10 minutes at 325°; cool
  2. Boil 1 can Eagle Brand in water for 1 hour. Chill thoroughly. Remove from can and slice thin with hot knife
  3. Slice peaches
  4. In pie shell, alternate layers of Eagle Brand milk slices and sliced peaches. Chill
  5. Whip whipping cream; top pie
