Butterscotch Cookies
Ingredients
3/4 cup butter
3 cups brown sugar, packed
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons Clabber Girl Baking Powder
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup nuts
Instructions
In a saucepan, melt butter; add brown sugar and stir over low flame until sugar is melted. Cool to lukewarm; add unbeaten eggs and whip well. Stir in flour, Clabber Girl Baking Powder, vanilla and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets.
Bake at 300 degrees F for 30 minutes.
Makes 2 dozen cookies.
