Brown Bag Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 5 cups pared sliced apples
  • 1 6-oz pkg. butterscotch chips
  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
  • 2 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup light cream
  1. Combine apples and butterscotch chips. Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  2. Combine sugar, flour, salt and cream; drizzle over apples.
  3. Place pie in large brown bag, fasten bag securely with staples.
  4. Bake at 375º for one hour and 10 minutes.

Note: Only use if using an electric oven, do not try if using a gas oven.
