Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 Tblsp. plus 1 tsp. bourbon
  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  1. Combine pecans and bourbon and set aside. Allow ingredients to marinate several hours if possible.
  2. Combine eggs, sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, salt and vanilla. Mix well; stir in chocolate morsels and pecan mixture.
  3. Pour into an unbaked pie shell and bake at 375ยบ for 55 to 60 minutes or until filling is set.
