Boston Cream Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup white syrup
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 cup. pecan halves or pieces
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 squares unsweetened chocolate
  1. Cook sugar, syrup and cream to soft ball stage. Remove from heat; cool slightly
  2. Beat and add vanilla and nuts. Beat until it loses its gloss.
  3. Pour into two 9 inch waxed-paper lined pans. Let cool; pour melted chocolate over candy
  4. Let stand 24 hours before cutting
