Blackberry-pecan Cake With Frosting


1 box white cake mix
1 sm. box blackberry or raspberry Jello
1 c. (drained) blackberries, fresh or frozen
1 c. cooking oil
1/2 c. cold milk
1 c. chopped pecans
4 eggs
1 c. coconut

1 box powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. drained blackberries
1/2 c. chopped pecans


Mix ingredients together. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Beat 5 minutes at low speed. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until cake comes away from pan. Cool. Frost with blackberry frosting. Melt butter and cream with powdered sugar. Mix well all other ingredients. Beat well until thick and creamy. Spread on cool cake.
