2 cups sifted flour
3 teaspoons Rumford Baking Powder
1 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons shortening
2/3 cup milk (about)
2 teaspoons sugar
1. Using Basic Rumford Baking Powder Biscuit recipe, sift 2 teaspoons sugar with the flour.
2. Knead dough about 1 minute.
3. Break off small pieces, about 1 1/2 teaspoonfuls,and roll firmly between the palms of the hand to form small balls.
4. Place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet and bake in moderately hot oven (425° F.) 18-20 minutes or until lightly browned.
Makes 20 to 24 rolls.
