1 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup butter
4 medium ripe bananas
1/3 cup water
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon Clabber Girl Baking Powder
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease bottom of two 8-1/2 x 4-1/2 x 1-1/2 inch loaf pans. Mix sugar, butter, and eggs with electric mixer until creamy. Add bananas and water. Again, mix well. Add the rest of the dry ingredients until blended.
Pour batter into prepared pans and bake at 350 degrees F. for 50-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Remove from pans and cool.
