Baked Fresh Asparagus
- 1 to 1-1/2 Pounds fresh asparagus
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1-1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- Juice of one lemon
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- Wash asparagus; cut off tough ends.
- Arrange in large baking dish in as few layers as possible.
- Melt butter and stir in remaining ingredients. Pour over asparagus.
- Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes or to desired doneness.
