Baked Fresh Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1-1/2 Pounds fresh asparagus
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  1. Wash asparagus; cut off tough ends.
  2. Arrange in large baking dish in as few layers as possible.
  3. Melt butter and stir in remaining ingredients. Pour over asparagus.
  4. Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes or to desired doneness.
