Apricot Coffee Cake

1/2 cup margarine
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Clabber Girl Baking Powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup milk
1 cup apricot filling

1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter

Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the vanilla and eggs. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with the milk. Blend well. Place half of the batter into a greased and floured 8-inch round pan. Place apricot filling evenly on batter. Place remaining batter over filling. Smooth to make even. Combine topping ingredients until crumbly. Sprinkle on top of batter.

Bake at 350 degrees F. for 50-60 minutes. Cool in pan for 20 minutes. Remove coffee cake from pan and cool on rack.
