Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups stewed apples
  • 1 tsp. apple pie spice
  • 6 slices butter or margarine
  • 2 (9-inch) pie crusts
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  1. Peel apple and cook until done. Mix apples, sugar and spices, put into pie crust. Put butter or margarine on top of apples before putting top crust on pie.
  2. Bake until crust is brown, about 30 minutes at 400 degrees.
  3. Remove from oven and put butter or margarine on top of pie crust while hot.
