Apple Crunch Pie-No Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans, optional
  • 1 9″ graham cracker pie crust
  • 1/2 cup cold milk
  • 1/2 cup cold Half & Half or light cream
  • 1 pkg (4 serving size) Vanilla flavor instant pudding & pie filling
  • 1-1/2 cups thawed Cool Whip
  1. Combine pie filling, brown sugar and cinnamon; add nuts
  2. Spread half the mixture in pie shell. Chill rest of mixture
  3. Pour milk, half & half in mixing bowl. Add pudding mix and beat at lowest speed with electric mixer until well blended, 1-2 minutes. Fold in Cool Whip
  4. Spoon over apple mixture
  5. Freeze 1 hour or chill 3 hours before serving
  6. Garnish with remaining apple mixture arranged around the inside edge of pie (slice by slice)
