Apple Butterscotch Pie

Ingredients

  • 5 apples
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  1. Peel apples. Slice into piecrust
  2. Melt brown sugar and butter in a heavy skillet. Mix white sugar, flour and water together
  3. Pour into brown sugar and butter. Cook until thick
  4. Pour over apples in pie crust. Cover with top pie crust
  5. Bake 1 hour at 350° to 400° depending on your oven
