Angel Food Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple (OK if little bit of juice)
  • 3 heaping Tbsp. of corn starch
  1. Cook the ingredients in top of double boiler until thick and clear
  2. Let cool to room temperature.
  3. Beat 3 egg whites and 1 tsp. pure vanilla until forms peaks
  4. FOLD into cooled pineapple mixture
  5. Pour into baked or bought pie shell.
  6. Serve with whipped cream
