Amish Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 4 Tblsp. butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1 cup broken pecan pieces
  • 1 unbaked pie shell, 9″
  1. Cream butter, brown sugar, salt & vanilla. Add eggs & beat just until blended. Stir in corn syrup & pecans
  2. Pour into pie shell.
  3. Bake at 425ยบ for 10 minutes, reduce heat to 325 & bake 30 to 35 minutes longer, or until set.
