Amish Custard Pie

Ingredients

  • 1/3 Cups Sugar
  • 3 Cups Milk
  • 2 tsp. Flour
  • 1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 9″ unbaked pie shell
  1. Combine sugar, flour, salt and eggs and mix until smooth.
  2. Heat milk to boiling point. Add 1 cup hot milk to egg mixture.
  3. Pour that into the remaining hot milk.
  4. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
  5. Sprinkle nutmeg over top.
  6. Bake at 350ºF. for 45-60 minutes.
