Alfredo Asparagus Pizza


  • 4 (6 oz.) balls of Pizza dough
  • 1-1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 5 oz Romano cheese, fresh grated
  • 4 oz Parmesan cheese, fresh grated
  • 2 dozen Aparagus spears, trimmed to 4″ tips and pre-cooked
  • Chopped roasted red peppers, drained
  • Fresh ground black pepper
  1. Preheat oven to 550 degree.Use a pizza brick or baking tiles for crisp crust
  2. Bring cream to a boil over high heat in (heavy) saucepan.Reduce heat and add cheeses.Simmer, stirring often till sauce is thickened (10 min). Remove from heat
  3. Form dough balls into 4 (8″) pizza shells.Spread the 4 shells with 1/2 of the Alfredo sauce
  4. Grate pepper over top and place asparagus in a (spoke-like) pattern with chopped Roasted Red peppers in circle around the edge.Slide into oven
  5. Bake 8 to 10 minutes till cheese sauce is golden and bubbly and dough is browned
