Heat oven to 400 degrees. Place flour tortillas on a cookie sheet. Place in oven and heat, turning regularly until slightly crispy (approximately 5 minutes). Spread refried beans on half the flour tortillas, and top with seasoned meat. Place the remaining tortillas on top. Spread the top tortilla with Green Mountain Gringo Fire Roasted Garlic Salsa. Top with grated cheese (Cheddar and Monterey Jack). Optional: You can also top with chopped onions, olives, etc. Place in oven and bake for 10 minutes. Slice and eat. Yummy, great tasting…and fast!
Fire Roast Pulled Pork Sandwich
- 1 LbBoneless pork chops
- 1/2 CupDaniel’s Fire Roast Salsa
- 8 SlicesBread & butter sandwich pickles
- 4 SlicesProvolone cheese
- 4 SlicesSweet onion (thinly sliced)
4 — Kaiser Rolls (toasted)
Grill pork chops until done (at least medium). Use two forks to shred pork. Place shredded pork into sauce pan and combine with salsa. Heat over medium heat until salsa is hot. Build the sandwich with the following ingredients: place two pickle slices, 1/4 of pork/salsa mixture, one cheese slice and an onion slice on bottom half of each kaiser roll. Cover with top halves of rolls. Enjoy!
TIPS: Use pickled jalapeños in place of bread and butter pickles to add some extra spice. You can also substitute leftover roasted chicken for the grilled pork chop.
